Our Wood and
Paper investigations are challenging our thinking in kindergarten. Who would have thought that sawdust and wood shavings could
be so interesting! These discoveries through our Foss Science Kit will continue in
November. A big thanks to the Parents’ Association for their generous support
of our exciting new science curriculum. The kindergartners will also be
discovering the way Native Americans used their environments to provide food,
shelter, and clothing. Tepees, wigwams, and igloos will fill our classrooms as
students select special projects to explore such as making bead necklaces,
creating chants and songs, writing stories using pictographs, or building an
